Song of my Life

I know you've been anxiously awaiting exciting pictures from my weekend in Lubbock, but alas, I have none. Melody had a good birthday, I had a great time with my friends, and the plane trip was actually really nice.

On Sunday evening, I landed at Dallas Love around dusk. The sunset was beautiful and flying over Downtown Dallas was incredible. I love this city that I live in. More on that later.

Quick story: yesterday I overheard one of my kids say, "She's an actor." I kept listening and another child asked him who he was talking about. He answered, "Jessica Simpson. She plays Lisa on the Simpsons." Yeah. Can't you see the resemblance?

I haven't been very inspired to write lately. Hopefully I will in the very near future.
