Hello from Ohio!

Christmas was wonderful! We had a great time with my family on Christmas morning. It was our first Christmas as a married couple, and also the first Christmas with Rachel, Brett's fiance. My parents did a great job on our stockings and gifts. My grandparents and aunt and uncle came over to my parents house after our Christmas morning together. We had a great day together, and then Lucas and I went home to pack up what seems like our whole house for our trip to visit his family.

We flew into Cleveland yesterday morning. After two gate changes and two delays, we were wondering if we'd ever get to leave. After we finally got on a plane, I prayed for the entire first hour. It was SO bumpy, and I wouldn't have been surprised at all if the plane had just fallen out of the sky. We had fun last night wrapping gifts, eating yummy food, and watching the Cosby Show. This morning we woke up and had another Christmas morning! It was great! Then we just lounged around for awhile and went to Panera Bread for lunch. After that, we loaded up the cars and headed back to his grandparents house, which is where I'm writing from right now. There are tons of family people over here and we're having a fun, laid-back time. Tomorrow morning we wake up for ANOTHER Christmas morning, and we're also having a weenie roast tomorrow. Apparently, that's where you roast weenies (not weenie dogs) and marshmallows for smores.
