Today in class, we were talking about blends. This week, our blends were /ch,/ /wh,/ and /nk./ We were brainstorming different words that had those blends in them, and words were flying. As we started on /wh,/ I was getting words like whale, what, where, whistle, and why. They had plenty to offer, so I kept asking for more. One of the really smart boys in my class raised his hand, I called on him, and with a smirk, he said, "whiskey."
I didn't even know what whiskey was in first grade.

A child of one of my Bible professors at Lipscomb says "whiskey" when you take his picture instead of "cheese"!
Yep, kids these days. Geesh. I barely knew what Dr. Pepper was in 1st grade!
