I just had to get onto a student for the twentieth or so time today. After I told him he needed to make a better choice, he looks at me and says,
"I sometimes mess up as I travel through life."
Apparently I have the five year-old version of Jack Handy in my class. Deep thought, my friend.

Today I had a kid tell me that "sometimes the right decision is just very difficult for me (him) to make." Love 'em, even when I'm so frustrated with them and want to strangle them!

A free jeans day pass is like gold in our district. We got a strict new dress code this year, and all forms of denim are out-lawed. No jean jackets, nothing. It really stinks.
